Pittsburgh was sweet, seeing as the boys played out of another band's amps and Todd played a much smaller drumkit than what he is used to, and there was no Derrick.... Setlist was pretty much consistant with the shows last leg of the tour. Cant really remember it off the top of my head, and since there was no Derrick, I gots no setlist.... Lots of people were outside in Station Square and they all seemed to be enjoying the boys. So it was nice and a different setting, being outside.

It was a beautiful night in Pittsburgh. I have never seen the boys at an outside venue so that was very fun. Station Square is a street with restaurants & bars on each side & they block off the street for this "street jam" that is a weekly Friday night event. There were 2 bands before FS. The crowd was small for the first 2 bands but, by the time FS took the stage, the area was very full. I love a big crowd because you can tell the boys feel the energy and its neat to watch them feed off that energy.
There were a lot of actual FS fans - you could hear everyone singing along - but then there were a LOT of people just downtown and I think they were pleased with the "free show" they got. You saw families, teenagers, 30somethings, and the typical bar-goers watching.......I even saw a Dad dancing w/ his little 3 year old in her jammies to music you could tell they were just introduced to......very neat experience. I hope they recruited some new fans and were able to get some merch sold as well.
As Jamie said, they were borrowing equipment, other than their 4 guitars, so we were nervous about how it would sound.......but they rocked the 'burgh, borrowed equipment & all.
The boys were in great spirits.......I think they enjoyed a 2.5 hour plane ride versus the usual 17 hour van ride! It was weird not seeing Derrick on the side of the stage or racing around all night.
Anyways....great, great show.....and great to see everyone again.....

Man was that a great show or what!!! The outside show was so nice that I would have gladly paid $15.00 after the show. I still cant beleive it was for free. I had this S**T eating grin on my face the whole damn show and even the whole 2 hour ride home. In my other posts I was so concerned about them never coming back to pittsburgh because of the monitor issues the last two shows at the hard rock. Brandon put all my worries aside at the show and said that the burg is a special place for the boys and they will always come back to pittsburgh. I dont know if any of the boys even really reads this fourm but I just want to say to them" thank you for coming back". The weather was perfect and they were so full of excitement and energy like I seen on the first astronauts tour. It was good to see them happy again in pittsburgh. I wish the next show will be outside and not in the hard rock. Ill see if I can post my pics somehow. Again....THANK YOU!!!!!!
