Hey everyone,

Those are odd places for them to tour. Sylvania, OH? That's right by Toledo... and the last few Toledo shows have been horrible turnout... really doesn't make much sense.
Any info Ari? Are these for real? I know Pollstar can be kind of shady on some dates.

I wonder what's with all the Penn State shows. If these are real, I hope the PSU ones are open to the general public; otherwise I'd have to go to Florida.
And 12 days between shows in FL (presumably they'd have to go back to Texas and then back east again?) seems strange as well. Maybe the 20th was a typo?

Looks like some kind of tour of small colleges.

Sorry to let everyone down but these dates are false. Doesn't look like there will be any shows to late march or april.

Oh well. So much for ever using Pollstar as a reliable source.
Frankly, I found it weird and doubtful that Ari would book an "East Coast tour" that included nothing in the Boston-to-DC corridor.

I have always found pollstar very reliable. Even more so than some bands own tour pages. Hopefully Ari can shed a little light on this subject.

Well here is a bulletin post that Flickerstick posted on MySpace....
So I am assuming that Norm is right on this one. I don't think this is the first time Pollstar has posted fake Flickerstick dates.

I have contacted pollstar to see if they can provide the source of this itinerary.

Maybe it was a slip up of the sort that occurred a couple years ago on Ebay, when a recording of Hanukkah songs and prayers was listed as being by "Flickerstick."
Mid-2008? Sigh...but be patient...at least they'll be playing a lot of new songs next time out.

Just to let everyone know my source is very close to the band. Actually he is the lead singer. so definitely these shows are bogus. I wish they weren't because most of them are in my area.

I am so happy that they are false, I was worried for a minute because I wouldn't have been able to make those either.
