Hey Ari! I have subscribed to both XM and Sirius in the last year, and I've been introduced to a lot of great bands via that medium. What about a push to request Flickerstick on the Alternative satellite radio stations? I would suggest "Ethel" on XM, and "Alt Nation" on Sirius. That could gain Flickerstick a lot of new fans... Just a thought! P.S. - If this is an old idea, just ignore it. I am a noob to the board. Thanks!

Ari is anti-Sirius just because of Stern. Ari likes Andy Griffith and Opie, or whatever the hell they're called.
Kidding again bro.

LOL...Opie & Anthony? They're pretty funny.
As far as my Sirius listening goes...Stern who? I got it because all of XM's new radios were p.o.s. and their customer service wasn't much better. Got tired of dealing with them, that's all. But I live in a small town, and pretty much ANY radio is better than the local crap! Blech. Daughtry, Hinder, Avril, anyone?

I thought you were a cool chick, but why all the haters on Stern now. Has anyone listened to his show in the last 6 months? It's some of the most brilliant radio I've heard.
I did the research and picked up Sirius..mostly because of Margaritaville Cafe, Stern, the SEC, and NFL.

My bad, didn't mean to give off the impression I was a Stern hater. I love Stern, just haven't gotten into the new stuff. "Private Parts" is definitely one of Top 10 Favorite Movies of All Time. Seriously (no cheesy pun intended...lol).

I got Sirius because I'm a Mississippi State football fan and the only way to hear my beloved team here at Florida State is Satellite Radio.

Seriously (no cheesy pun intended...lol). No, I was just giving you shit and throwing a jab at Ari. Lord knows I never give my boy any shit. In all seriousness in regards to Sirius. I sat in bed this morning and was thinking about looking into the Garage channel. Now why do I sit in bed and think about ways to get these guys on the air? Honestly, I think satellite radio is the way to go to build more of a buzz. I just see it working for other bands that are getting played A LOT on satellite. With terrestial, the stations are told what songs to play. It seems like on satellite it's left up to the DJs and fan requests. I may be completely wrong about that. Either way, I believe Ari said a while back that XM and Sirius should have the new album. On that note, the bands that are played on Alt Nation/Garage seem to also be the bands that get booked on SNL, Conan, etc. I'm going to take some time today in between the NFL draft and taking care of my laid up wife to hit up some of the Sirius stations to check into it.

We shipped the LFA to both programmers recently. We'll have to see what happens.
I'm pro Opie & Anthony... 100%. I have no problem with Stern, but simply think that he's washed up at this point. Still some funny bits, but he was once the king and has come back to being a "good" radio DJ.

He once was the king....but now he is just a washed up version of his old self. I think he should re-marry Alison so he can get some of his good material back. hehe

I didn't say which was better looking...I said he was better when he was married. There was more of a mystery about him when he was married and on public radio to where he couldn't scream the F bomb all day long. It's just not the same show...and his celebrity guests list proves it as well. When he was on public radio with great ratings people begged to be on there, now...not so much. He's still OK, just not as good as he was.

What the heck happened to everyone...it was so fun a week or so ago while they were on tour...now it's just you and I it seems bickering back and forth about if your poop smells good. hehe
