Ari,
Rob and I are considering making a little road trip out to the Pittsburgh show. Unfortunatly, he won't go unless he knows that it will be a decent set. He wants to make sure it's worth the 5 hour car ride out there. Any information would be appreciated!

Thanks Norm!
Is that an all ages show? I was assuming "yes" because it's open to the public. We were thinking about bringing our son who is 13. He's an FS fan through us of course! LOL Norm- have you been to any of these out door shows at Station Street? Is the area handicap accessible? Does it get real crazy? He uses a wheelchair and we don't want him to get crushed by the crowd or knocked over by drive by pit moshers. We haven't completely decided yet and are still considering bringing him. I think he'd love it. What do you think?

I'm trying to get some friends to road trip up there too.
I told them Flickerstick -- they were meh...
I told them road trip and a free rock show -- and that I'm in cool with the band, and they thought harder on it.

I was supposed to go to Vegas, but plans fell through and I had a plane ticket, so I changed it to Pittsburgh, which means I'll be there! What's the nicest hotel in Pittsburgh? What all is there to do there? I'm getting in in the mid-afternoon on Friday and leaving late afternoon Saturday. CDL

The Sheraton Station Square is nice enough. I'm not sure it the "nicest" in Pittsburgh, but it's a good location. It's right on the water and within walking distance of downtown proper, the stadiums, etc. The 'Stick show is right there (literally within feet), so it's not a bad choice.

The sheraton is nice and right were the show is. The best hotel in Pittsburgh is the Omni William Penn.
